their experiences climbing Mt. Whitney and writing a book about their adventure. Though this is sponsored by the Single Adults, this will be very interesting and is open to anyone who like to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Single Adult Multi-Regional Fireside Sunday March 21st our speaker will be Jeff Mangum speaking on “The Lessons Learned From the Wild Fires of 2007”; A Process Through “The Refiner’s Fire”. Jeff and his family lost their home in 2007 due to the fires, but they are better off today. Attend and explore with Jeff his perspective of how the Lord protects and blesses lives. Jeff is an attorney in Downtown San Diego, is currently in the Stake Sunday School Presidency and also serving on the Poway Unified School Board. Jeff was one of the prominent speakers at last year’s Poway Relief Society Symposium. Poway Stake Center 7:00 PM located at 15750 Bernardo Heights Pkwy.

Single Adult Multi-Regional Fireside Sunday April 18th and Extended Families will hear Jim Brogan, former NBA player with the Golden State Warriors and Clippers, author, advisor/mentor, and professional speaker. He is well known as a highly respected authority on peak performance for teens, CEO’s, coaches and elite athletes from the NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball. He has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and was recently a guest on the Oprah Winfrey XM radio show. Jim has also been the Key Note speaker for the San Diego Rotary Leadership Program for High School Seniors over the past several years. Jim has produced four programs for teens about skills for success with the current edition; 10 Steps to Success for Teens” which has made a difference among thousands of teens across America. Jim’s topic: “The Power of Personal Development – Attracting More of What You Want”. For this Fireside we are encouraging all to bring their families and friends, whether members or not, especially teens and young adults.
